    Strange radio problem
    « on: September 07, 2010, 11:07:14 AM »
hi, might be me being stupid i've got a Dell Inspiron Laptop and for some reason its just started playing some radio station when I load internet Explorer. The radio station sounds american (im in the UK) and it plays bits of news headlines. I cant find anyway to switch it off it even continues to play when I close Internet Explorer. I've also tried changing my home page but this makes no difference. Any ideas?

Very strange occurrence. Try clearing your browsing history and cookies from Internet options, Also i gather that if you did NOT open your IE browser this would NOT happen. Is that so? It probably won't resolve your IE issue but if you installed Mozilla Firefox (or some other browser) it would be interesting to see if it stopped the problem. You might want to give that a try. What version of IE are you using? truenorth
P.S. This might be pointing to a virus or something else of that ilk.
