can open a folder?

wen i try to open a folder it say disk is not formatted:do yo want to format it now ho can i fix this?

Is that folder in an external hard drive? Do the other folders in drive M open?

When requesting Help it's best to answer with info laden replies...otherwise it just takes longer...
