HD (60 gig) segmented as C & D
« on: July 31, 2005, 05:28:51 PM »
I've got a Sony LT with a 60 Gig drive. C is.....15 gb (13 used and 0.95 avail)
D is ......40 gb (9.7 used and 27.1 gb avail.)

Computer appears to be locking up due to C drive too full.

How do you handle resegmenting or creating only 1 drive?

Use a program such as Partition Magic.

You can also do it using the Windows XP CD-ROM or a bootable diskette, but this will require you to reformat the Hard Disk Drives and loose all data.
