Hi guys!! HATE to bother you again but I`ve messed with this thing & read until my eyes are popping out! I have an asus Eee pc 900 with windows xp. I THOUGHT i installed my spyware doctor right since I can put it on 3 computers but must not have done something right in the beginning! FINALLY got it on right & had over 800 virus`s. (trojans & malware ramnit??) anyway, my background pic loads but nothing else, no start menu, nothing!I keep getting pop ups that says all this is missing,

    TFUN.exe
    Services.exe
    lsass.exe
    pctsTray.exe
    userinit.exe
    Explorer.EXE
    ExplorerSrv.exe
    IEXPLORE.EXE
    pctsGui.exe
    DesktopLayer.exe

Not sure what these are but cant find them even on the asus site?? Any ideas on what I should do?? Thanks so much!!

Hi! Yes, thanks! I just put a new post up cause couldn`t find mine but someone gave me the link to my stuff!lol Anyhow, I was just "winging" it, I figured it wasn`t working & looked bad so what more harm could I do? Task manager was the ONLY way to get around to anything so I spent forever going through every file & deleting things that were just created, but some wouldn`t let me. No luck with that so went to dos to format & it says access denied?? I have no clue where to go from here. Any ideas? Thanks so much!

If it is really Ramnit.A you have serious problems that can only be solved by reformatting the computer. Please run this ESET scan and post the log and then we'll know what it is.

I'd like to scan your machine with ESET OnlineScan

•Hold down Control and click on the following link to open ESET OnlineScan in a new window.
          ESET OnlineScan
          •Click the button.
•For alternate browsers only: (Microsoft Internet Explorer users can skip these steps)
          • Click on to download the ESET Smart Installer. Save it to your desktop.
          • Double click on the icon on your desktop.
          •Check
          •Click the button.
•Accept any security warnings from your browser.
          •Check
          •Push the Start button.
•ESET will then download updates for itself, install itself, and begin scanning your computer. Please be patient as this can take some time.
          •When the scan completes, push
•Push , and save the file to your desktop using a unique name, such as ESETScan. Include the contents of this report in your next reply.
          •Push the button.
          •Push
A log file will be saved here: C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Online Scanner\log.txt

What does this mean? Have you already tried to reformat? Do you have the Windows disk or do you have a recovery console?

Hi, this doesn`t have a disk drive & HOPEFULLY I have something somewhere for it, i should since I just got it a year ago. I`m pretty sure it`s ramnit though, thats what my spyware doc said. ( I installed it a little too late!lol) I went to dos & typed reformat, (among many other things it said in help) but it says access is denied? AHHHHHH! I`m so lost!

No. You cannot use that command.
Do you know if the Recovery Console was installed on your computer. You could contact the maker and ask them about it since it's only one year old.

You should installed  a anti-malware/anti-virus program, that over-rode its real anti-virus, AdAware, and wouldn't allow Malwarebytes to run, or access to Windows Task Manager. When Notebook is starting up, it prevent against virus and Malwarebytes cleaned it up.
