i get this problem every time i get off Mozilla or any other program i guess and when i try to lets say add volume my computer freezes and i get a message saying that windows has stopped working or something and it has happened several time already its kind of getting annoying so here is the problem

I would start by uninstalling firefox , rebooting and reinstall it.

Disregard the above post - your problem has nothing to do with Firefox.

What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?

my most recent thing installed was Microsoft office but these problems began occurring 2-3 days ago and office was installed 2 weeks ago
