Copying DVD to hard drive

I have a DVD burner,but only one drive,so I need to copy the DVD to my hard drive first.I have spent hours trying to figure out how to do it.Can anyone help me?

Try software such as WinISO

This allows you to create an ISO (image) of the file on the CD/DVD-ROM. Once it is created, you can then use a program such as Nero to copy it onto the CD-ROM. Nero can read ISO files.
