So my friend just reinstalled her Windows XP, and she's trying to get her internet working.
She has a D-LINK wireless adapter, and she has the disk for it.
The problem is, when she tried to run the risk, she get's an error that says "the install shield engine on this machine is older than the version required to run this setup".
So after she downloaded a random ISSCRIPT.msi and ran it (
www.installengine.com/cert02/isengine/isscript.msi) She's now getting an error that says: "-1603 fatal error during installation.) after the install shield engine is outdated error.
It's a fresh reinstall, there is nothing installed, I have no idea why she's getting this error, can someone please help?
