    A friend dropped his Dell Inspiron 8130 with XP home SP3 by with this Antivirus 2010 screen up. Used Rkill and started to run malwarebytes, ran about 2 minutes and screen went black. His Malwarebytes program is now blocked as well as his antivirus program. He has not been diligent about his updates. Please help me help a friend.

    go to below rename hjt to snipper.exe and post the log then wait for an expert

      OK, I copied HJT to my desktop renamed siper.exe and it came up 'windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file.
      you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. I am in uner an admin user.
