my Dell just got infected with this marvelous little gem. The resident Shield Alert in AVG brings me up this information below...
Trojan horse Patched_c.JHC (File winlogin.exe)
&
Trojan horse Patched_c.JHH (File explorer.exe)
I have searched for an answer on how to get rid of this but haven't had much luck. I am trying all ideas before I format this PC too. I have ran MBAM, ATF Cleaner, CCleaner, AVG System Scan and they are still there. Im going to try Ad-aware next but after that im pretty much lost for ideas.
Is there anyway to replace the corrupted winlogin.exe & explorer.exe files without reinstalling the entire operating system? Im currently on XP Pro SP3
