    Athlon 64 x2 Dualcore 5600+ processor
    GeForce 8800GTS 512 mb video card
    Asus M2N-E motherboard
    4 gb ram
    250 gb hard drive
    All drivers up to date

    In the past several days the streaming video on internet tv and Firefox has been constantly stopping and starting and buffering but IE is not having the problem.  Sometimes I check them and they are ok.  Any Ideas?

      Well let me throw a few ideas out there.  Couldnt be display drivers because I updated them.  This seems to be a phenomenon that comes around once or twice a year, perhaps factors that are beyond our control?  I have Roadrunner for an ISP and the speed stays steady.

      Close Firefox. Go Start>All Programs>Mozilla Firefox, click on Mozilla Firefox (safe mode). Same thing?
