Computer shuts down when I use a wireless connection
« on: November 05, 2010, 02:16:45 PM »
HI!! I have a problem with my computer and its wireless connection, everytime I activate the wireless connection my computer freezes and I have to restart it manually so it will work again
I thought it was a problem with my hard disk space so i clear it so i have now 30.9GB available but the problem its still there
I also check the Wireless network adapter which is a Atheros AR5B91 but it says that its working correctly so i dont know what to do
here are some specifications about my computer
Acer Aspire 5535
AMD athlon 64 X2 dual-core processor QL-60
RAM 2 GB
OS: 32 bits
Windows Vista Home premium
I also did the system evaluation thing and it gave me a 3.7 with this characteristics:
Processor 4.7
RAM 5.5
Graphics: 3.9
3D graphics 3.7
HDD 5.5
average score 3.7

Please specify what routers/brand/model/firmware version are you connecting or trying to access. Firewall/s use or abled/disabled. Was it also working properly before? Do these happen to other wi-fi connection you are into?
