Vmware fusion - windows xp problem on mac
    « on: November 10, 2010, 09:37:50 AM »
I use vmware fusion on my mac and am running windows xp.  When I start windows xp, I get the black screen (lasts forever) then finally moves to the welcome screen (lasts forever), then background and later icons pop up.  No start task bar and cannot access Internet at all.  Have to run task manager to open windows explorer.  I attempt to drag and drop files, but cannot  I have attempted various routes but cannot get this resolved.  What I want to do is just push everything over to the mac side and nuke windows xp....can't use my windows xp cd, it won't budge.  Not quite sure what else I can do.  I need the files on windows xp.  I can actually access some of this, but cannot get it off the windows partition.  I don't know enough to fix this.  Any thoughts?
