    Dear All

How can i hide icons/options from control panel so no one else can see who is using the computer, just like in corporates where almost all the options are either disabled or hidden .

Sorry, I'm not sure what you want to do. Do you want to keep others from knowing you are on the network, do you want to remove specific applets from control panel, do you want to prevent other users from accessing control panel, or is it something else?

No, i am not on the network. It is a home PC. But some times guests who visit do use the computer and can modify the settings. I want to prevent them doing it. Please help me so no one except me can access the control panel.

Create a limited user account for your guests. Or even better, tell your guest what they may and may not do or they won't be permitted to use your computer again.
