    Strike F1 to continue or F2 to enter setup utility
    « on: November 18, 2010, 02:20:53 AM »
    I'm getting this message after the BIOS finishes and the PC will not open winXP until I strike F1.  How do I bypass this?  I have same problem on two PC's after reformat and new install of OS.

    Look up in your BIOS set-up menu for an option "Halt on", save and exit. There might be some hardware failing. Post for any result.

    Do you have your hard drives plugged into a RAID card?

      On BIOS set-up: If options/features are available.
      1. Reset Config Data --> Reset once. Reboot and check.
      2. PCI Delay Transaction --> Enable. Reboot and check. If default is enabled then disable.
      3. Halt on error --> If any failing hardware.
      4. Quick boot --> Enable.
