why does M$ not let everyone have the win XP mode addon (which is only given to win 7 pro users at the moment)? Wouldn't it be a good idea??

IMO the "XP Mode" is absolutely useless.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

IMO the "XP Mode" is absolutely useless.
Many there should be a plug-in that lets the user imagine he/she has the OS he wants.
-Oh rats  - that would be copyright infringement. I forgot. Make the recycle bin lot like the garbage can from sesame street and you violate the rights of Apple.

The Judges Ruling says otherwise. Additionally, the Apple suite was between the Mac OS System 6 (if I recall) and Windows 3.1. There was no Recycle bin yet.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
