What is a really good software to use to create a DVD. Something much better
than Windows DVD Maker but is just as user friendly as it. I also do not want to
purchase it. I want a trial or free program. Thank you.

I use a number of both paid and free programs to achieve your objective. In the "free" category this is my favorite.
Pro very easy to use/automatically sizes file to fit on one 4.7 gb dvd disc
con The free version starts your video with a window for their product (unless you pay for the software) I don't have a problem with that and it is really of short duration.

I just used Leawo DVD Creator, I had to say it's a great tool. You can find it in Google.
