Is PSP Worth it?
« on: December 09, 2010, 08:15:27 PM »
Yeah Not sure I wanna play 180 bucks for the newest version. But I got my hands on one and it had so many awsome portable features I was tempted.

Could you give me the pros and cons of it?

Some people might argue that the topic itself was unnecessary. And it is off-topic, being that it has very little to do with computers.

I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

John, it's not up to you to decide if it's necessary or not.  You posted this in a computer help forum, yet it is not related to giving or receiving computer help, so I moved it to the appropriate section.  Why this is an issue for you is beyond me (your topic has not been affected), nor does it matter because it is what it is.

I dont know its just not very easy to understand why mine ended up in the other. as off topic make perfect place for it.
You realize he moved it <from> other <into> Off-topic? So you're just reinforcing his reasoning.

Let's just drop this; it has nothing to do with the main topic and nobody benefits from arguing about it.

For what it's worth, I do not have a PSP of my own, but it has many great exclusive titles that are worth playing.  For that reason alone, I plan on buying one when I have the money (it is also the only current platform I don't own).  Personally, I don't think the PSP Go is worthwhile.  Downloading games and storing them digitally is great, but it shouldn't be the only option.  I don't understand why companies seem to think that an upgrade should remove a portion of functionality.

When I get myself a PSP, I'll be getting the 3000 because I prefer having the option of using physical games.  I also prefer this version's shape/design and it is easier to install homebrew applications for further customization of the interface.

P.S. Everyone I know who owns a PSP says it's worth the money.
