Registry Changes without reboot

Hi All,

I am making a change to the Principal Domain under the following path:

My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Services for UNIXt

Is there a programmatic way to make this change effective immediately without restarting the system?

Some registry changes doesn't require a restart but others needs restart and there's no way to override this
