    laptop problem
    « on: December 13, 2010, 11:58:00 AM »
Ok I have a gateway laptop, the T-6330u . My wireless internet works but not my wired. I have the NIC card, but no driver for it. I contacted Gateway and they couldn't help me, and no links I found on their site works. What can I do to fix it? Also the system restore disk didn't work either.

    Go here:  http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/dlcenter.asp
Enter your serial number, down the LAN drivers.

Provide the link when you enter the serial number or provide us the serial number.  Are you sure you entered the serial number?

That link you sent above. I'm not wasting my time typing my serial number unless I need to. That site didn't provide on to work.

If you want no help, that's fine with me.  I'm not wasting my time, either.

The link works just fine. If you don't want to follow CC's advice that's certainly your choice. After all, I can understand how much work it is to type your serial number.

        OK...
Solution: Just give us the serial # and one of us can type it in for you if it's too much trouble...
Then we can forward you the correct drivers...

I just visited their site and everything seems to be in working order.

Sounds like perhaps the laptop is infected.

EDIT: here's an alternate download location. You haven't given the OS, so I'm guessing it's Vista, which is what it shipped with.
(Windows Vista drivers also work with windows 7)
