ESC Key NOT functioning

I have a problem with my ESC key not working anymore, it is not the keyboard, it worked fine a couple of days ago, now it doesn't even function, I tried remapping the key, it still does not work with the new remapped key, anyone know a solution to this?

I know its definitely software related and not hardware, due to it not even working when the key was remapped to a different key!

The only way to know for sure that it is not the keyboard itself is to try a different keyboard.

Yep, it was the keyboard....
my old keyboard seems to work.
