Did this mouse come with a driver CD? If so, have you tried installing the drivers for the mouse? Also, whats the model of the mouse? Has the recently happened or have you always had this problem since you got windows 7? Also, can you post a screen shot of device manager with the "mouse and other pointing devices" sub-menu opened?
