Microsoft Word 97-2003, joining a split table.

Hi,
I have split a table, because I needed to change the width of the columns halfway down. I changed the column widths, but now I cannot find out how to join the table again. Please help.

Have you already checked the built-in help?
Did you Google 'word join split columns'  (without the quotes)
I tried that and could not find the specific answer you need.
Can you describe in more detail how you got into this problem?
