wireless router lock

I have a Belkin G F 507234-4- V5 wireless router but I do not think it was locked when it was installed. How can I check whether it was or not and if it is not locked how in simple terms can I lock it please?

If you get into the setup area of the router, you should find and area for setting password and encryption notions.
