SIF files..
« on: August 18, 2005, 01:02:58 PM »
I've been trying to setup windows XP and after formating the hard drive partition I get the following message :
" The following value in the .SIF file used by setup is corrupted or missing:
Value 0 on the line in section (Source Disks Files) with the key SP1.cab.
Setup cannot continue. To quit setup press F3"
Could someone please tell me what to do? where such files can be found? will I have the same problem if I get a brand new hard drive and setup windows? is it possible to fix this file? if yes .. how??
Any help regarding this issue will be greatly appreciated it.

By the way, thank you for your reply.
