I went to use my help and support on my brand new computer and this is what it tells me,  anyone know why?   Topic not found.

If this is an HP computer, and it's HP's help and support you are trying to get to, you may need to do a repair install. But if it's brand new you should be using the warranty. Have you done a Windows upgrade or anything like that? This is a known HP problem when people apply the free Windows 7 upgrade.

Open Help and Support from the Start menu. The lower right corner will have a dropbox for "Online Help"

Well, I don't know if this is relevant, but I have had a Windows 7 64 bit machine for 10 months. Just now I went to the Start Menu, chose Help And Support, and clicked on "Get Online Help" ... and nothing happened. I think this is something that you may have in a preinstalled PC but not otherwise.

I just tried it now and it showed the main Windows help page fine.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

If you click the 'online help' button in the bottom right, you see a menu where you can check "Get online help" or "Get offline help". If you have checked online help you see what I see below the central horizontal line. If "Get offline help" is checked you don't get the "Featured this month" items. Nothing actually "happens" apart from that.
