BSOD stops after RAM reseating. But comes back...
    « on: December 31, 2010, 12:52:13 PM »
Hi, I have been having trouble with BSOD for 2 years. And it seems to get worse and worse. I have tried everything formating, defraging all kinds of things and it seems to come back  >:( . I have installed a ATI Radeon HD 4600 series and it seems that these errors started after i put it in but the error messages seems to show different. Please help me out. Sorry if I wrote it in the wrong section, I didnt know where to post it.

    I have the errors:
I still cant figure it out. I had no sound after one BSOD and I reseated the RAM and it fixed it and BSOD stopped for some time. Is it bad RAMS? Bad graphics card? bad drivers?
I never had trouble with XP, maybe Vista is messing it up?

First  of all, welcome you to the Computer Hope forums. There are many people here who will help you as volunteers. We are not trying to sell you anything.
Yes, it would appear to be a problem with the operating system. However, over the years your computer may have got a hardware problem. Anyway, it would help if you would tell us more about the age of the motherboard and the specific model number.
First guess is you did not choose all the right drivers for Vista.  You did use some of the XP drivers. Is that what you did?
