    Recover memory.
    « on: January 13, 2011, 05:04:17 AM »
In my laptop 160GB memory space is there which is shown in Disk management, but in the My computer I am getting only 140GB in one drive. In disk management I can see the extra 20GB as an another partition. I am unable to format or access to that drive. Please help me to get into that drive.

That is probably your hidden recovery partition....personally i would leave it alone.
But if you insist you need thaat space then travel to the manuf. site and follow the guide for creating the recovery CD's....
Make 2 sets and put one in safe storage.
You can then safely delete the partition and use Disk Management to allocate the space to your C: drive...

Normally, the extra 20GB space is for backup. So you'd better leave it alone.
