I found the answer to the error message with autoexec.nt and followed your easy to understand instructions to repair.
Funny, it would continue to give the error message and kick me off or out of repairing per the instructions.
I can not think of a way around it. I understand how config.sys worked and autoexec.bat worked in win95 win 98, but at a loss how to get around and edit or repair this windows XP home edition that I use.
Trying to install scanner and other software but that error stops me.
Help! I need somebody, Help! not just anybody, Help! you know I need someone, Help!!
