    Raptor Spybot
    « on: August 13, 2005, 05:52:22 AM »
    Found a fix Raptor, I'm one happy chappy.  :D

    "The Problem:
    The checkbox needs lowering.
    The Solution:
    Open reshacker (another excellent program)
    Open "TeaTimer.exe" in the spybot folder, make sure tt is not running
    Search for "decision" (CTRL-F)

    CODE
    object cbRemember: TCheckBox
      Left = 8
      Top = 160
      Width = 339
      Height = 17
      Anchors = [akLeft, akTop, akRight]
      Caption = '&Remember this decision.'
      TabOrder = 2
    end

    Change "Top = 160" to "Top = 190"
    compile script and save
    Voila, the checkbox is now below the buttons. "

    Speaking of the devil, I installed Spybot S&D yesterday and I also enabled Teatimer, but it does not seem to be a very useful program. It says 1173 processes blacklisted?

    Am I missing something?

      The Teatimer is for real time monitoring.
      Try & change your browser home page.

        This was a follow up from an old post, I thought others may have been interested in the fix but it was Raptor that asked me to let him know of any developments.  :P

          Yes, Merlin, we certainly wouldn't want the public threads to be cluttered up with meaningless posts, now would we? ::)

          You never responded to mine, so apparantly something is wrong.

          Do you have nothing better to do?

            Thanks for the post Fed. Works as advertised. I would have posted earlier, but I also use a lesser program, so it took a while before spybot popped up the screen.

            It seems to have picked up Adobe Acrobat and asked me if it was legit.

            Unfortunately, I could read 1/3 of it. Where do I find Reshacker?

              Goggle for reshacker, it's easy to figure out how to use it, even I managed to do it.
              I've been thinking about downloading it again just to play with for a while.

              I'd have to move my mouse over to the search box and type Reshacker. Do you have any idea how many calories that burns?

                I did as the instructions told me. Now I only need to find a way for Teatimer to become active. The last and only event it ever triggered here was Adobe Acrobat Reader updater.
