    networking question
    « on: February 06, 2011, 12:24:09 PM »
    Hi,
    First post.
I just bought a used Asus desktop. Pentium core 2, 750gig HD and 6 gig ram. Running windows 7 64 bit.

I want to make this the main computer hard wired to the router and network the laptop running Vista and a net book running XP. This desktop is replacing another desktop that is running XP.

I had no problems networking the old desktop (XP) with the notebook (vista) and the netbook (XP) But now when I go to network and sharing options it isn't giving me the option to create network settings which I then put on the flash drive to put the settings on the other 2 computers.

Once I get the network setup I want to transfer all of my files from the old desktop to the new.

I did  a search, but wasn't getting what I was looking for.

    Thanks,
    Tom
