    External hard-drive question
    « on: March 07, 2011, 01:28:45 PM »
    I have this external hard-drive.

    I have this motherboard.

The hard-drive supports E-SATA, the mother board just has SATA 3Gb/s ports. I currently use USB, but on a 1 TB HD, the transfer times for large amounts of files is brutal.

Will this cable fix my problem?

Yes, it's the adapter you need.  Don't know if it will "fix" your "problem", some motherboards don't support eSATA well.  It's certainly worth a try.
