Startup Repair Failing, Can't Enter Safemode
« on: February 27, 2011, 10:43:28 AM »
As of yesterday I've been having some serious trouble trying to get my Vista to start. Once it gets passed the boot options it goes to a black screen with the options of either starting windows normally or startup repair (and I haven't even touched anything hardware specific, just to clarify). I'll let the startup repair sit and when finished it tells me that it can't fix whatever the problem is. I've tried going into safemode as well but even that starts loading and eventually just switches over to that frusterating black screen again. I was thinking maybe a recovery disc might help but I'm not sure...Can someone please help me?
