faster startup on a domain laptop while not on domain's network

Hi was just wanting to see if anyone knew how to make my laptop start up faster when I'm at home or away from the office, where I can't see my work domain it boots up but takes five to six mins to do so.  Any help would be great running win 7 pro for OS.

well my thinking is I don't know if this is a win 7 prob or a network prob.  and not all the people that read network stuff are going to read the win 7 stuff so posted in both.
