    I have a problem
    « on: March 07, 2011, 06:31:28 AM »
Okay so today i was running my computer on listening to music, i left for a bit to go pick up groceries, i come back and my computer is off. no power failure or anything. so i turn it back on and i get this message : something about a corrupt file, WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM: file missing or corrupt.
then it says i can like repair by placing the xp disk in the computer and running it, but i do not have that disk anymore/ cannot find it, but i have a windows 98 could i use that?

    No...
You will need to find an XP CD that matches what version is installed...

Stop back when you locate one for further instructions.
