I am sure this is a basic question, but the forum has helped me in the past. All I wish is to record VHS tape to DVD thru an external recorder, then use the DVD in my computer through Pro Show or Roxio Med 7 to edit and burn a DVD slide show etc. The problem is the end format not MPEG2 or other usuables.
