I just hooked-up a used HP PC that has Windows XP Pro. Several strange things happen when turning-on. The "Welcome" screen freezes and won't continue. My friend told me to press Ctrl, Alt, and Del and the unit works however the clock re-sets itself to 12 AM and the date shows 1998. What's the problem? This is not intermittent but everytime I use the processor.
