hello..... i have a problem to my computer... i try reformating my computer but i can't do this because i can't boot to cd rom,, once i enter to bios setup i receive this....(VIEW ONLY ITEM) so that i can't change any of tha settings in the bios setup...

any idea of this?? thanks....

           2.39Ghz   256 of RAM

Refer to your manual in order how to find out how to properly operate the BIOS.

Contact the mainboard manufacturer and have them link or send you a copy.

    Hi You could  try this put your XP disk into your drive and restart the computer and at the post screen press and keep pressing any key see if the computer will boot from the CD.

    If you make up this bootdisk on a floppy then you can use it to re-direct the boot to the CD-ROM

    OLDBIOS BOOTDISK

    Download the file to a hard-drive and double-click on it. You will need one clean formatted floppy diskette.

    Put the floppy in your computer's A: drive and slip the XP CD into the CD-ROM drive as the machine is starting.

    If it doesn't catch it the first time try re-booting.

    When you see "Press any key to boot to CD-ROM... " do so and the CD should start to load.
