    Trouble with my Samsung 1710

    Hello,
I bought a Samsung 1710 new in 2003 and have never had more than a paper jam until this week. My printer will not work at all. I have re-installed the driver many times. I have gone through the process of shutting down the PC, unplugging the printer, the USB,& the power. I have done that many times. Whenever, I try to print a page the little printer shows up in the notification area and nothing happens. I then proceed to open the printer and have the docs purged. I have done all of these things over and over again. I still can't get the thing going. I did a test print and it comes out fine. Can anyone clue me in on what I can do albeit buy a new printer?

    Thank You in advance.
