    Computer trouble!
    « on: March 28, 2011, 11:29:20 PM »
    Hey guys.
Would anyone be able to tell me what's wrong with ny computer?
It comes up with a blue screen and the following message:
    STOP: c000021a {fatal system error}
The initial session process or system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0x00000000 (0xc0000034 0x0010037c).
The system has been shut down.

Any help on how to fix this?

Experts are standing by to help you solve this problem. They know what that error message means. But before they can help you, there are some details they need.
Are you the only one that uses this computer?
    What kind is it?
Make? Model? How old is it?
When did it start doing this?
Is it running Windows 7 ?
If you turn off the power, wait ten minutes and then turn it back on, - Then what happens? Same message?

    Download BlueScreenView:
    http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.
when scanning is done, go to EDIT - Select All
Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your next reply

Yes I am the only one who uses this computer, and the computer is a Dell inspiron 1545 with windows vista.
I got this back in august 09, and this has been happening for the past 3 months.
I'm not sure whether windows 7 is running, and when I turn it on it comes up with ' windows has failed to start... ' and only gives me the option of safe mode and start windows normally. Starting windows normally brings me to a black screen and starting up in safe mode brings me to the blue screen. I can't actually get into the computer to download anything.

Use another PC to download Bluescreenviewer and transfer it to your Dell. Run the exe to scan for dump files.
Save and paste the file on your next post. Use safemode.
