I' had to zip files to send to college, I had then to rename them zap files to get through their firewalls. That was all find until about a month ago when I had to open the zapped files and am unable to do this. The file properties show the file type as 'software installation settings'??? It is driving me crazy tryin to open them.Word, wordpad notepad you name it no joyAAH Anyone any ideas before I throw the computer out the window.
