I just want it gone!!

This is sooooo frustrating! I installed some supposedly helpful gadget to the Mozilla Firefox browser called "Freecorder" and then my compurter is going absurdly slow for the past two weeks. I think it's due to this Freecorder. I tried uninstalling it by selecting "uninstall" from the program's folder on the start menu but IT'S STILL THERE when I open my browser. I tried uninstalling it by "add/remove programs" but it won't go away. I tried selecting the applications menu on Mozilla and removing it but it just won't go away. Please help with this - thanks!

I did that before I even posted... the Freecorder did not even show up in that program's list of "programs installed on this computer" and yet it remains annoyingly on Mozilla's toolbar anyhow like some kind of immortal spyware. It refuses all efforts to delete it >:/
