Possible to overcome onboard video card problem?
« on: August 20, 2005, 01:23:07 PM »
Hello! I have a problem with my video card, which is every now and then my computer will stop responding and produces vertical lines of colours which are present on the screen at the time. It occurs for no reason. I have been told this is a fault with my video card. It happened on Linux and Windows - although Windows is much less frequent.

The video card is an S3 Graphics Card which is onboard, and I have a Packard Bell laptop.

Is it possible to overcome this problem?
