Have you tried running safemode with or without networking?

Edit : Check Also PC Temps.

I think my video card is over heating, the GPU temp is around 55-60c. It is due for an upgrade since it is 2 years old so I am going to try that.

So I just replaced my video card. I still have the same issue. It is getting very frustrating. I am at a loss here and don't know what else to do.  ???
