    App Crashes?
    « on: April 23, 2011, 08:44:04 PM »
I recently reinstalled by Operating System (Vista) due to a few viruses, clutter, and corruption. That was a week or 2 ago.

I noticed 2 things in my startup, that I did not recognize.

    Ixicamoheyeva - Unknown - rundll32.exe "AppData/Local/s0KBDap.dll",Startup

    and

    Nhamenoxokexaqu - Uknown - rundll32.exe "AppData/Local/akuciquc.dll",Startup

I disabled startup for both of them, then found them in the AppData/Local folder and created an archive with the .dlls inside, and removed both .dlls

Windows Explorer crashes sometimes, I get this in error detals.

Those appear to be DLL's running via rundll32.exe under randomly generated names. Legitimate programs probably wouldn't do something like that, so I'd suggest you checked your computer for spyware and viruses. This forum has help with such matters: http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/board,7.0.html

I agree with BaRR, the names of those two things exhibit virus behavior, generating random names to help avoid name detection. Follow the link he posted and provide the information requested in this thread:

Sounds like, despite formatting and reinstallation, something has slipped through into the new installation, through a flash drive, hard drive, or other medium. Don't worry though, the malware guys are good. They should get you sorted.
