    In the Sopuer Video converter program were is the Tab for how to handle interlace?

      I found the Tab that opens the window for setting the interlace or how you want it to be handled.

      One thing there is a Check in  De Interlace to Prograsive.

      But this box and all the other options are Grayed Out.

      I can not change it why?

        Did you read the article? Interlace is not an user choice like brightness or volume.  It is part of the legacy Television standards both in North America and Europe. High definition Video does not need interlace and interlace jut makes things harder that needed and impairs visual quality. It was intended to be helpful in low-bandwidth low resolution systems with CRT displays. That is now history.If you format a video for view on standard TV, it will have interlace. No choice. Only a few formats offer a choice. It has almost no worth in LCD. Do you need to know why?
