Slow computer problem
« on: January 21, 2011, 06:10:45 PM »
I just got the internet hooked up. Before I did this my computer moved fast. I have the $35 plan from Clear. So, it's 4x slower than the fast hookup. I realize this could be causing most of the slow loading. But, everything loads a lot slower. Even non-related things to the internet. There are a few things running in the background like avgchsvx.exe, and explorer.exe and something called Teatimer.exe. Is this normal for any of these programs to be running constantly in the background? The Teatimer.exe was there before I got the internet and it really slows down my CPU. Thanks for the help. ???

Teatimer is part of spybot. Just uninstall spybot.
