Final update...
Well after two months of crying myself to sleep every night I have finally solved this problem. Before I tell you what the solution was I just wanted to explain why I hadn't tried this solution earlier and what the process was to actually find this solution....
First of all, two months ago I started to notice some slowdown from my computer right after I had moved in to a new apartment. This was a separate issue which I finally fixed as referenced in this thread that I created a month ago "
http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,118979.60.html#bot".
So, finally after fixing this issue that turned out to be a hardware issue my computer was running alot faster, but my game wouldnt play right.
I assumed it was my graphics card. The first thing I automatically did was to update my graphics drivers. BIG MISTAKE! Then someone suggested that I rollback my drivers to an earlier version. Unfortunately I had already done a full reformat of my HDD because of the previous problem and had no eralier drivers to roll back to.
Then I decided to go to the nvidia site and get some help with thier live service. Well, The tech tried to help me as best he can, but to no avail. He had me try four different nvidia drivers which I installed four frickin times! Still no go.
So from that I figured it had to be a hardware issue right? Wrong! NEVER assume anything when it comes to your pc.
So, I took my card out, took it apart and cleaned it completely. I put it back in my system and still no go.
Finally I was googling my issue which really didnt seem to have definite solution. (everyone seems to have there own idea on how to fix the prob but no one was sure.)
I started thinking what if it was software related. But how could it be as The tech guy at nvidia had had me try four different drivers? Well I decided to go back to nvidias site and see if they kept old drivers on thier site that I could roll back to. Bingo!
They have drivers going all the way back to january of 2010!
So, I decided to try the oldest driver I could find which was the january one. I installed the driver and tried my game out and Voila! it worked flawlessly!
You can imagine how angry I was to realize that my big mistake had been to update my drivers to the newest driver for my card thinking that the new driver would be "better".
I guess the moral of this story is that newer isn't always better and sometimes the simplest of solutions is usually the right one.
My only question is how can nvidia release new drivers that aren't stable like they are better for your card when they sure as *censored* aren't?
BTW thank you to all who tried to help me with this issue.
