Ok so here's the basics of my computer.
First off, I have an asus vh236h monitor(23 in hdmi lcd monitor)
My peripheals are a 20 year old keyboard(<3 old keyboards) and a stock mouse I found somewhere(which I need to upgrade, my gaming mouse died, but I bought it for 20 bucks so it is expected)
So the main parts. I have a seagate 160gig hdd(my 500gig died half a year back and haven't really had the time or money to upgrade)
ASUS M4A785-M AMD 785G Socket AM3 Motherboard
AMD Athlon II X4 635 2.9Ghz AM3 OEM CPU
Power supply is a xion 450 watt. It a pos which I need to upgrade.
I also got a VGA SAPPHIRE|100284L HD5750 1G ATI video card.

This has happened before, and let me explain how this happened. I decided to try my luck with what I thought was a bad stick of ram and when I inserted it, ta-da, black screen. Took it back out and still black screen.
I'm about to try and reseat my graphics card and see what that does.
I plan on upgrading the ram soon anyway, so I was just trying to make sure that its the ram sticks that are bad, not the motherboard.
Thanks in advance.
