I have an old computer that has many old movies on it from a Sony handycam. The files are listed as IMA Files. When I click on them, they open the program named Image Mixer that came with the camera but the individual movie clips are not there. My husband deleted a lot off the computer in preparation to junk it but I don't want to get rid of it till I can salvage these videos. The associated icons are IMX as Image Mixer is the program that opens them.
The movies that do open are listed as "Movie Clip" and open in Windows Media Player.
Is there a program that I can convert these files to something else? Anything else?
