Monitor not working

Hello,

I have a HP Pavilion Media Center Desktop  M8400FPC with a HP/HDMI w2207h monitor.  When I booted up the PC, the monitor briefly came on with the following message.

VGA - No input signal
HDMI - No input signal

After the above message displays for for 2-seconds, the "Monitor going to sleep" verbiage appears.

Not sure if this is a bad monitor(3-years old), or if there's another problem.  From what I can tell, everything appears to be connected properlty.  The keyboard display is lit up so that appears to be working. 

We did get a new moden/wireless router installed by Brighthouse 2-weeks ago, but everything worked normal until today.   

Any idea what my problem could be?

Try HP monitor on another computer or try a different monitor on the HP.
